Ice Cream Social - First Sunday in August

This annual fundraiser for the Irvington Historical Society is held at the Bona (5350 University Ave) on the first Sunday in August. The family-friendly event brings scoops of gourmet ice cream and music to Downey Avenue. 

Ice Cream Social:
August 2, 2026, 1 – 4 p.m. 

  • Downey Ave and the adjacent parking lot close at 8 a.m. for this event. Thanks to our neighbors for supporting this annual tradition.
  • Live music by Audio Diner
  • Admission: Free and open to the public. Ice cream and food are available for purchase.
