Bona Loop

The Town of Irvington was platted in 1870 as the first planned suburb of Indianapolis.  Various additions were added to the Original Plat over the town’s history. 

This self-guided walking tour begins in Woodland Park Addition (1873) and loops through the southern part of the Original Plat.  Approximately two miles.  Start at Bona Thompson Memorial Center, 5350 University Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46219.
